Tom Butterworth Gardening and Education

During this course, we will make preparations involving various plants, herbs and spices. Some of these plants may cause negative reactions amongst some people, or may interact with certain medications. Furthermore, some herbs can carry risks for people who are pregnant or breastfeeding. I will do my best to inform you where I can, but it is your responsibility to do your own research before the sessions, and to not participate if you are concerned there is any risk to your health. By joining the course, you accept responsibility for your health and that you will not participate in any activity that may harm your health. I am not a medical practitioner - you should always contact a healthcare specialist if you are concerned about your health, and to discuss any risks to your health that may arise from particular plants and ingredients.

We will also carry out physical gardening tasks such as digging, planting, pruning, etc., which carry risks of physical injury. It is your responsibility to carry out tasks in a safe manner and without endangering other participants. If you have any health conditions or injuries which will affect your ability to carry out any tasks, you should let me know beforehand so any necessary accommodations can be made. Please let me know details of any allergies or intolerances, or any health information that you feel is relevant.

Your data will be held securely, and I will only use your information to contact you about the course when necessary, such as queries about payments, changes to dates/times or reminders.

Course fees are non-refundable, though reservations can be transferred to a future session. Exceptions can be made in extenuating circumstances at the discretion of the tutor.
